New Candidate Umpire Training Class
The NCMBUA is currently looking for new umpire candidates for the 2025 training class. Similar to years past there will be multiple sessions of the classroom running right up through the start of the baseball season. The training consists of a self-paced online course that you can take anytime on your own. Once you register and pay for the course access will be granted so you may begin the course work. There will be 4 virtual classes conducted via Microsoft Teams where we will go over mechanics and positioning on the diamond. In order to test you skills you will participate in an on-field mechanics clinic. There will be scrimmages for umpires to work where there will be instruction available in a low to no pressure situation. Session 1 is scheduled for Thursday and Sundays beginning Thursday March 16th. Virtual meetings will run 2 hours long Sundays from 5-7pm and Thursday from 7-9p. The cost for the class is $125. Please fill out the following Google Form: NCMBUA Umpire Course. You may also email your interest to ncmbua@gmail.com or by messaging via this site. Please submit your interest no later than Thursday 3/13/2025.
